    Stations of the Cross or the Way of the Cross, also known as Way of Sorrows or Via Crucis, refers to a series of images depicting Jesus Christ on the day of his crucifixion and accompanying prayers. The stations grew out of imitations of Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem which is believed to be the actual path Jesus walked to Mount Calvary. The object of the stations is to help the Christian faithful to make a spiritual pilgrimage through contemplation of the Passion of Christ. It is celebrated every Friday during Lent.

    Alpha is a ten week program that invites participants to encounter Jesus in a new and personal way. The format of Alpha is an open, non-judgmental discussion of key faith topics. Each session begins with a FREE meal and relaxed conversation. From there the group views a dynamic and thought-provoking video presentation followed by discussion. The course will meet once a week for twelve weeks and includes the opportunity for a renewing retreat experience. Starting February 27th come join us Monday nights at 6:30 p.m. in the Cathedral center. As St. Augustine once said, “Our hearts are restless, O Lord, until they rest in you.” Come and find rest like you never have before.
