I was raised in Tualatin, Oregon, attending St. Francis Church in Sherwood where I was very involved as an altar server and faith formation. I received my BA in Religion from Pacific Lutheran University and my MA in Theology from Catholic Distance University. I love learning and talking about God, Jesus, the Church. I currently teach middle school at St. John Fisher School in SW Portland.

I am married to Angie and we have two children, and a small dog.

When I'm not teaching or serving in the parish, I enjoy time with my family, or making wood toys in my garage.
