Centennial Project

The Centennial Project is an initiative to finally raise the environs of the cathedral block to a beauty which becomes such a noble edifice. For many years we have been struggling to come up with a way forward for this exterior project and now we have settled on a plan for the landscaping and design features of a safe and practical aesthetic. This project also encompasses the reworking of the sidewalks on both NW 18th Avenue and NW Couch Street, which are major projects in and of themselves.

This Centennial Project is not inexpensive. We estimate this phase, which does not include the inner courtyard, will cost $500,000.

The good news is that as of 5 March we already have raised our goal of $500,000.

You can watch the video on our website ‘Centennial’ tab to see the renderings of these improvements.
