SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17TH, 2026 AT 2:00PM - CAPPELLA ROMANA

Please join us on Saturday, Oct. 17th, 2026 at 2:00pm as Capella Romana performs Sergei Rachmaninoff’s “All-Night Vigil”. Composed in 1915, Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil stands as one of the most beautiful choral masterworks ever written—a luminous bridge between ancient Slavic spiritual traditions and late-Romantic expression. Drawing deeply from ancient Russian Orthodox chants, Rachmaninoff weaves the timeless melodies of Russian plainsong into works of transcendent beauty. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24TH, 2026 AT 1:30PM - BYRD ENSEMBLE

We'll be hosting The Byrd Ensemble as they perform SPEM IN ALIUM: Hope in Darkness. Thomas Tallis, William Byrd, and John Taverner shaped the sound of English sacred music during one of history's most turbulent periods of religious change. This collection of motets moves between grief and hope: Byrd's Tristitia et anxietas gives voice to sorrow, his Miserere nostri pleads for mercy, Taverner's Gaude plurimum answers with joy, and Arvo Pärt's Da pacem Domine asks for peace.  That weight resolves in Tallis's Spem in alium — forty voices in eight choirs, surrounding the listener from every side. Its text is the program's title made sound: Spem in alium nunquam habui praeter in te — "I have never put my hope in any other but in thee."

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH, 2026 AT 4:00PM - CANTORES IN ECCLESIA

Join the Adult and Youth Choirs of Cantores in Ecclesia accompanied by chamber orchestra under the direction of Blake Applegate for a performance of Gabriel Fauré’s beloved Requiem in the beautiful setting of St. Mary’s Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

This special concert is dedicated to the memory of Cantores’ friends and supporters who have passed away during the choir’s nearly 45-year history.
